I want to share with you some very good news. I understand that you are a Doctor like myself so I shall use the jargon.
3 years ago I had Grade 4 high grade Diffuse B cell Lymphoma including spinal involvement. I responded well to immuno-chemotherapy. A month or so ago I had an incidental pick up of a paraspinal mass on a CT-KUB for a non-related urological problem. The biopsy was expected to show recurrence since it is the identical site of the primary tumour. However the biopsy showed a low grade, grade 2, solitary follicular lymphoma which has a much, much better prognosis and a far less onerous and risky treatment regimen. Obviously this is a rare event i.e. exact same site, new histology, less aggressive, but these things do happen.
I have been asking for the intercession of your son Pedro and whilst clearly it cannot be cited as a miracle to my mind, his intercessory prayer has been heard. I know that the correct thing to do for your son is both to have confidence in his intercession but also to have Holy Mass offered for the repose of his soul which I have organised at the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, the national shrine of Our Lady. I shall continue asking for his prayers.
I have also had Holy Mass offered for you and your wife to strengthen both of you in your journey on earth whilst you await re-union with your son after death. Thank you and your wife for bringing up such a fantastic son.
