Pedro has helped me again!
My 2-year-old daughter is terrified of doctors. It doesn’t matter who the appointment is for, she will scream and cry the entire time. Ever since she was 6 months old, taking her or my son to the doctor has been impossible; she gets so upset and uncontrollable.
This week I had to take my 5 year old son for a checkup, and my husband couldn’t come to help with my daughter. I was dreading it, but my son needed his medication. The moment she recognized the doctor’s office, she started crying and screaming. In the elevator, I asked Pedro for help. And I texted my mom, who is in another country, to pray Pedro’s card for me.
When we entered the doctor's office, my daughter suddenly went quiet. She hugged me tightly and stayed completely still throughout the entire visit. The nurses were shocked and said they couldn’t believe she wasn’t crying.
And the cherry on top? After the appointment, she turned to the doctor, waved goodbye, and said, “Thank you.”
My son and I were amazed. He looked at me and said, “Mom, I think Pedro, our friend in heaven, really helped us.”
