I have learnt about Pedro Ballester’s life and have admired his fortitude and apostolic zeal! I have two young sons like Pedro. Both have emigrated in search of a better life elsewhere. I  entrust them both to Pedro and ask for his help so that they may fare well. Recently, one of them mentioned that he had applied for a job he was excited about, but there were difficulties regarding visas, study permits, etc. From 12 May onwards, I stepped up my ‘conversations’ with Pedro, as he,  being a young man himself,  understands the hopes and aspirations of so many young people who leave the security of home and venture out into the world in search of new horizons.
Well, today, 20 May, one of my sons was informed that his application has been approved and he has been presented with his employment contract. Thank you, Pedro!! I believe that Pedro’s intercession and his ‘guidance’ have been decisive in this.
I now continue with gratitude and even greater zeal to pray for my other son, so that very soon I may give a new  testimony of the favour received.
But above all, what I will never cease to ask of Pedro is that my sons may seek, find and love Christ!
