At that time, I mentioned that, as well as thanking Pedrofor his intercession, I was continuing to entrust my children to his care –particularly another son who has also emigrated, seeking to make his waythrough his university studies and looking for job opportunities.
Well, it turns out that today, 6 July, Pedro has once againgranted us a favour, as following a selection process that this other son wentthrough, he has been offered a job with a company that has a significantpresence across Europe.
I have no doubt that these ‘coincidences’ – which I preferto call ‘Divincidences’ – have come about through constant prayer and my‘conversations’ with Pedro, asking for his help and intercession on behalf ofthese young people who, like him, harbour the hopes of getting ahead and sowingpeace and joy in their own little corner of the world, just as St Josemaría sooften preached!
I continue to entrust myself to Pedro, giving thanks to God,asking forgiveness for our ingratitude and asking him to help us more each day.
Now my conversations with Pedro have changed a little; I nowask him that these children of mine may receive grace and faith, and that Pedromay accompany them on their daily journey wherever they are struggling.
Thank you, Pedro. Thank you.
