On April 30, I returned a house that I had been renting. The landlady and I had spent twenty-four days discussing a defect in the property, and we were unable to reach an agreement regarding responsibility for it.
On May 25, after another conversation in which we continued in disagreement, I thought of asking for the help of Pedro Ballester so that both of us might recognize and correct whatever was necessary and the matter could be resolved promptly.
The following day, although our previous conversation had ended without agreement, she wrote to me in a cordial manner to bring the matter to a close, without mentioning again the defect that had been the subject of our dispute. In addition, she apologized for the delay in making a payment she owed me and completed the payment the next day. We ended our exchange by expressing our mutual gratitude and parted on very good terms.
I do believe that this outcome was due to Pedro’s intercession.
