My son-in-law is a computer engineer. He used to work for a large, leading multinational company in Dublin, and when they were making staff cuts, he was selected as one of the candidates for redundancy. As soon as I found out, I remembered that Pedro Ballester was an engineering student living in Great Britain, which helped me to make the connection, and I began praying using the prayercards so that my son-in-law might find a new job soon.

He suffers from depression, and we prayed that his condition wouldn’t worsen while he was looking for work. And that’s exactly how it’s been. He’s been very at peace the whole time, taking his mind off things and feeling calm. He’s just signed a new contract. It’s exactly as he wanted: rather than working with artificial intelligence, he’s using artificial intelligence for the company’s purposes, so he’s much more relaxed and happy.

I give thanks to God through this page by Pedro Ballester, because we have felt His support around us at all times, and for providing my son-in-law with such a good new job.

I continue to pray that he may regain his faith, as he has been saying for some time that he has lost it, and he neither practises his faith nor draws near to God.
