She had surgery four months ago and, when she came out of the operation, the doctor told me, with a very serious and grave expression, that her knee was a D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R (I remember the emphasis on each letter).
And that the goal from now on was ‘for her to be able to walk without pain’. My wife is a very athletic person, and the news was devastating. She has had to undergo a difficult recovery that included being in a wheelchair.
From the very beginning, my wife, my daughters and I have prayed to Pedro Ballester every single day (my daughters have memorised the prayer and we take advantage of the moment when we go to school or before we go to sleep).
And today, four months later, my wife has been discharged from hospital with an excellent prognosis and has even been allowed to try out sports such as hockey and paddle tennis, which she played before the operation.
It has been a fantastic recovery and we have no doubt that Pedro has interceded on her behalf.
