My son was very far from God, and both his mother and I suffered greatly. A priest advised me to entrust him to a saint for help. That same day, I heard about Pedro Ballester and began to pray using his prayercard every day. Suddenly, one day, my son told me that a priest he knew had written to him inviting him to a retreat. He became furious and said he would not go. But I continued to pray through the intercession of Pedro Ballester every day.
After a few days, he asked me, “Dad, what would you do?” I replied, “I can take you there and bring you back, but I can't decide for you.” I continued praying.
A week later, he threw a piece of paper at me and said, “Sign the authorisation so I can go on the retreat.”
When I dropped him off at the bus stop to go to the retreat, I immediately turned off my mobile phone, thinking, ‘He's going to call me to get him out of there.’
When the whole family went to the closing Mass of the retreat, we found he was happy and he told us how much he had enjoyed himself.
Since then, he has been attending Mass regularly and receiving the sacraments. Another miracle from Pedro.
