Discover the many stories of answered prayers, granted through Pedro’s intercession.
I turn to Pedro every day for help with important or everyday matters and I notice how he gives me a hand with everything I ask him for.
I wanted to tell you about one of those “everyday” favours. A week ago I had an appointment for the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine. I had made an appointment online but they did not send me a message with the confirmation.
When I arrived at the place (which was not easy to get to) where I was to receive the vaccine, there were many people queuing.
When it was his turn, the man in front of me explained to them that he had an appointment for the following morning but that he had an exam. He had come with his brother who had an appointment for that day and asked if they could give him the vaccine instead. He was told No: he was to go to his health centre and ask for another appointment.
It was my turn. I gave my ID card and the appointment did not appear on their list. I was told to go to the “Reception” desk. I explained how I had asked for it online. But they told me I didn’t have one.
I turned to Pedro asking him to intercede to get me vaccinated that day, as it meant I would otherwise lose a lot of time having to go back. At that moment the person who was attending to me stood up and went to talk to his boss. And she told him to give me an appointment for that day.
I thank Pedro for all the favours every day that help me to see the hand of God in these circumstances.
