I first came to know the story of Pedro Ballester at the end of last year. I immediately fell in love with his story and with his love for Jesus Christ and for the Holy Catholic Church.

I have been going through some difficult moments and times when I have felt very little hope. But when I look at Pedro’s life and his story, I am reminded that God has a purpose for each one of us. Pedro has become my best friend in Heaven. I know that even when I may feel that I have no friends here, I have him in Heaven, and I have Jesus with me.

I watched his documentary, I Have Never Been Happier, and I felt completely filled with love for his humble story, which continues to inspire me to this day. He was a true warrior who, until his very last moment, gave himself completely for the conversion of others, even in the smallest details of his life. He surrendered himself to God while still loving his life, because he knew that there was something greater waiting for him: Heaven.

I often ask God for his intercession, mentioning Pedro by name, and I feel heard. It gives me the feeling that there is always someone I can turn to, and that truly warms my heart.

I also have a Catholic group on WhatsApp where we pray novenas and prayers, and I will soon be praying for Pedro there as well. I believe that the more prayers we offer, the better, and I would be very happy to pray for his cause and ask for his intercession.

I found your email while searching online for information about Pedro, and I came across the beautiful work you do in spreading his story. I would also be very happy and grateful to receive any small devotional memento or keepsake connected to Pedro, if that is something you are able to provide. Just having something that reminds me of him and of his beautiful life would mean a great deal to me.

He has become my little companion in Heaven, and I will always be eternally grateful that I came to know his story. Even though he may not yet be widely known, he will always be a dear friend to me.
